Do not worry about looking silly by asking questions. The more education that you have on the process and the more prepared that you are the greater your chances will be to actually get this scholarship. Remember, you will not have to pay this money back and that makes it all worth it. You should be willing to jump through just about any hoop out there to get this money. Many times you may even find that you can use it to pay for room and board and this can be expensive if you are living in state or even out of state. The more financial assistance that you have the better off you are going to be when it comes to starting your own life.
